Originally sold by the principals of Urban Bay Properties, this was the first large loft development in San Francisco. Conversion started in 1989 with the Heublein Building, an old wine distribution building. By 1991 it had won the Best Dressed award from San Francisco magazine. The building has 70 one-bedroom units, and 13 two-bedroom units. Great care was taken to preserver the exterior look of the building, and interiors include original industrial windows, concrete mushroom-capped columns and 13-20 foot ceilings. Building amenities include a rooftop terrace with panoramic views and deeded underground parking.
