410 Jessie, part of the “Mint Collection,” offers stunning, modern design blocks from downtown San Francisco.
The 10-story building was constructed in 1926 by Reid Brothers Architects, who also designed the Fairmont Hotel and Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. It originally served as offices and warehouses for the Hale Bros. Department Stores, one of the first and most prominent retailers in San Francisco. The company later became part of the retail conglomerate of Carter, Hawley, Hale.
There are 52 residential and live/work units. The lofts range from 460 to 2,930 sq. ft. (aprx) and offer 11.5-foot ceilings, acid-stained concrete floors with high-gloss finishes and industrial sized, operable windows with views. Kitchens include custom cabinetry, and baths offer stainless steel counters and soaking tubs. There is also forced air heat and air conditioning, and some units include private balconies and walk-in closets.
Common area amenities are uncommon, with a rooftop garden with spa and Viking grill, rooftop fitness center and two high-speed elevators.
