1234 Horward was designed by award-winning architect Stanley Saitowitz of Natoma Architects. Saitowitz designed other notable buildings in San Francisco, including the Yerba Buena Lofts at 855 Folsom and 2002 3rd Street.
The homes at 1234 Howard offer a stunning combination of light, space, air, and luxury. They have clean, modern lines providing owners the height of urban living.
Individual units offer glass-enclosed catwalks, stained bamboo flooring. full-height sliding doors, Fleetwood glazing, stained wood cabinetry, black granite counters and Bosch appliances. Glass-railed French balconies look out on a spacious, open courtyard.
There are 18 units in total: 2 studios (including 1 BMR), 8 1 bedrooms (roughly 880 sq. ft.) and 8 2 bedrooms (roughly 1250 sq. ft.). However, only 6 of the 2 bedrooms are for sale as Mr. Saitowitz held onto them for himself.
1234 Howard is an H-shaped building 5 stories high with 18 parking spaces. There is also a unique addition — aluminum automated louvers — on the southern exterior.
